About Spadger and Friends
Spadger & Friends began with a father, a nickname, and a story that needed to be shared. Inspired by her dad—affectionately known as “Spadger”—Carolann Hinson created a collection of heartwarming stories to help children explore kindness, empathy and belonging. The first book, Spadger Finds His Way Home, follows a lovable pigeon who gets lost and learns that with good friends beside you, even the hardest journeys can lead you safely home. In honour of families affected by dementia, 10% of every sale is donated to Alzheimer’s Research UK.
